ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION :
1. Maintain complete awareness of :
a. Schedule group activities and house count
b. Hotel facilities and services
c. Hours of Operations
d. Facilities lay out
e. Fire and Emergency plans
f. Department rules of conduct
2. Arrange the Security staff of the daily activities and supervisor the shift change.
3. To check the shift reports every morning as signed.
4. Ensure non hotel personal arriving at Employee entrance are properly escorted while on property according to hotel policy.
5. Inspect all of hotel properties and supervise of all hotel areas.
6. Ensure that all hotel procedures can be operated well.
7. Coordinate emergency situations as a specified in department manual.
8. Monitor surveillance cameras as assigned (to be plan)
9. Check employee ID’s and ensure accuracy of employee arrival when they come to work.
10. Resolve safety hazard situations
11. Ensure all guest room doors are secure, assist guest with room access in accordance with hotel procedures.
12. Challenge suspicious persons on hotel property on accordance with department procedures.
13. Investigate procedures alarm and comply with respective procedures
14. Report to EAM/GM all accident
15. Act as fire brigade if any fires.
16. Ensure that after hour access into secured hotel areas are properly authorized, monitored and documented in accordance with hotel standard.
17. Work with outside agency (i.e. police/army/government) cooperatively and follow established hotel regulations.
18. Conduct designated investigations, theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaint , food poisoning complaints and other guest complaints. Complete documented reports in accordance with hotel procedures.
19. Respond to the scenes of guest/employee accident promptly, administer first aid/CPR in accordance to guidelines and comply with all departmental procedures; communicate specified information to EMS/Medical personal as required.
20. Reports to scenes of guest or employee fighting and follow designated procedures.
21. Comply with state regulations and hotel guidelines or handling intoxicated guest.
22. Coordinated towing vehicles as specified in departmental procedures.
23. Report to scene of vehicle accidents/theft and document specified information, following department procedures.
24. Assist in moving/removing guest room possessions, inventory and security of such and “E” key rooms following hotel policy and procedures.
25. Document, organize and store all lost and found items given to Security; document guest inquiries for lost items and coordinate guest items to guest in accordance with hotel procedures.
26. Comply with guest requests for storing and safekeeping of their valuables and follow procedures.
27. Make arrest in compliance with legal and hotel requirements.
28. Ensure security of rental vehicles and keys until issued to lease and upon return.
29. Maintain confidentiality of all Security and hotel reports/ documents; release information only to authorized individuals.
30. Promote positive relations with guest and employee alike.
31. Accommodate all guest requests courteously
32. Answer the departmental telephone with 3 rings, using proper salutation and telephone etiquette.
33. Communicate by radio/beeper with designated hotel personnel in accordance with hotel standard
34. Monitor and handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
35. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of department, equipment, supplies and work areas.
36. Prepare work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering.
37. Legibly complete designated reports as specified in departmental guidelines.
38. Document all pertinent information in the log book daily.
39. Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving. Review hotel status and any follow-up actions with oncoming Security Officer
40. Successful completion of training/certification process.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist Human Resources in preparation of employee ID’s as assigned.
2. Provide departmental assistance upon request to ensure optimum service to guest.
3. Conduct employee locker audits as assigned
4. Provide security service for Banquet functions/meeting rooms as assigned.
QUALIFICATION:
Essential :
1) High school graduate or equal
2) Officer for Army forces, Police Dept or retirement of Police Dept.
3) Ability to communicate in English with guest visitors and hotel staff to their understanding.
4) Ability to provide legible communication
5) Crime free record
Desirable :
1) Two years of College education
2) Previous experience in Police Department work or Army Forces.
3) Valid certification in alcohol awareness program
4) To have a good relationship with the Police Dept, Army Force Dept, Government and another company.
5) Ability to communicate in Second language.
SKILL :

4) Previous experience in Military District Area Commander.
5) Ability to promote positive relations with all persons.

16) Ability to endure abundant physical movement in physical functions.
Desirable :
1) Prior guest relation training
2) English conversation course.
