Develop marketing strategy and define a clear and differentiated market position for assigned Resorts / Cluster, and provide a framework for future branding decisions. Identify each Resorts strategic point of difference, and implement effective ways to promote these differences to target markets.
Identify and develop the research initiatives and analyse existing data to gain consumer insight, a better understanding of the market, product and brand awareness, price/value perceptions and the opportunities to strengthen the position of assigned Resorts in Bali.
Plan, conceptualise, develop and implement synergistic, creative, strategic and tactical marketing programs and activities for assigned Resorts / Cluster to drive brand messages and measurable revenue opportunities across all streams. Ensure internal promotion and awareness of brand values, promotions, advertising and other marketing programs.
Adopt a consumer based insight driven strategic approach.
Track Hotel/s reputation in social media and on consumer based feedback sites and respond to consumer generated feedback to show online connection to consumers and care for future / past guest opinion.
Identify and penetrate new source markets in key regional areas and regions outside of Indonesia to diversify geographic delivery and secure new transient, leisure FIT and group customers.
Work with the Area Director of Marketing & Director of Public Relations, to develop and manage the annual Bali advertising and promotional plan and budget for assigned Resorts.
Work closely with the Regional Brand Marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency of area work with regional standards and direction at all times.
Lead the advertising and promotional marketing activities in the agreed strategy for assigned Resorts on Bali
Work closely with the Revenue Manager to strategically target need periods, working at all times in line with business requirements.
Ensure proper tracking and measurement systems are in place to quantify the returns of all marketing and promotions investments and be accountable for ensuring maximum returns on dollars spent against our business priorities while controlling total spend within budget. Ensure detailed information is on hand to guide future plans.
Ensure that all Resorts marketing tools and partnerships are utilised to full potential, delivering front of mind awareness internally and externally.
Oversee Priority Club Rewards and Ambassador initiatives for assigned Resorts.
Commission locally based research projects to understand the impact of tactical campaigns targeting Priority Club Rewards and Ambassador customers for the Resorts. Identify and implement opportunities to engage with PCR members and Hotel guests and drive focus on recognition and retention.
Actively assist in the management of consumer brand relationships and sponsorships to promote our brands and drive revenues to assigned Resorts. Maximise potential from all partnership marketing opportunities.
Maximise potential from certified third party intermediaries.
Engage with customers in online space, increase website hits, conversion % and booking traffic through more focused targeting and optimization through the use of advanced data analytics, keyword bid-management tool, and leveraging available online marketing space in all channels.
Initiate and measure distribution channel marketing activities including, but not limited to Resorts website, Hotel & Guest Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and GDS opportunities.
Write effective briefs for creative agencies, at all times ensuring that brand messages are respected.
Monitor competitive set marketing and promotional activities and advise tactical changes to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing.
Attend regular Sales, Marketing and Revenue Meetings, ensuring that all forthcoming marketing activities are communicated, strategies reviewed and adjusted as required.
Report as required on marketing activities and share best practices.
Review all marketing suppliers on a regular basis to ensure that cost efficiencies and quality are maximised.
Develop client contacts and build partnership opportunities for advertising, direct mail, public relations and promotions.
Develop and leverage sponsorship opportunities and establish strong community involvement.
Approve all collateral and on and off line advertising before it goes to print or production.
Act as the brand champion for assigned Resorts, supporting all departments to ensure that all facets of the products and services are in line with established brand standards.
